The Project
The project is an upgrade to an existing plant initially requiring a temporary treatment and pumping system to allow for a seismic upgrade to the existing water treatment plant building.
Following the seismic upgrade works the following new Treatment Systems will be installed:
New Flow Control Inlet Valve
Duty/Standby UV Disinfection System
New Caustic Storage and Dosing System
Upgraded Chlorine Dosing System
New Water Quality Monitoring and Compliance Instrumentation
Key Points
Process Flow are engaged to provide a Design/Build Solution for the project. The successful outcome of the project will see the Mapua and Ruby Bay region with a new dedicated Treatment Plant and Pumping System compliant with the Drinking Water Standards of New Zealand (DWSNZ).
